I originally moved to Goldsboro in 1973 with my parents, Glenn and Eloise and brother Brad. I attended high school at Wayne Country Day graduating in 1979. It was during those years I met my high school sweetheart Kelly Harrell. Thirty-seven years later she became my wife. We married in 2016. She is sales and marketing director at Brookdale on Berkeley Boulevard, formerly known as the Sterling House. Two stepdaughters Sydney and Logan Hand.
During high school, I was blessed to become one of the top 10 junior golfers in America. I attended East Carolina University on a full golf scholarship and was a four year letterman, graduating with a Bachelors Degree. I furthered my golf career obtaining status as a Class “A” member of the Professional Golfers Association of America. In that capacity I served as Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf Operations at Pete Dye and Tom Fazio-designed private clubs in the Myrtle Beach area. As a licensed Real Estate Broker in South Carolina I was part of the top selling multi-family home community in the Myrtle Beach area. I worked with the developer, builder and seller assuring hands-on personal care for new owners from introduction through construction, settlement and follow-up. We were a full service team for the top selling multi-family home community in the Horry County area for 3 consecutive years. For over 12 years as a Real Estate Broker, I have helped nearly 400 families purchasing primary and second homes as well as investment properties. I have worked with developers, builders, sellers and buyers assuring hands-on personal care for new owners from introduction through construction, settlement and follow-up. This entailed my meeting and helping people to identify their personal needs, goals and objectives in real estate. My professional career provides you the benefits of an asset that can help you with many aspects of the real estate process. |
